Meet The Owners Of Moonshine Mountain-

Jerry and Melanie Brady set off on a journey in 2020 to construct a wedding and elopement venue that truly caters to adventurous couples.

"We wanted to offer couples and their families an authentic experience in Colorado, without all of the crazy restrictions often found in National and State Parks. Brides and Grooms deserve more time, less stress, better communication and a transparent process- all at a reasonable price"

At it's core- Moonshine Mountain is as simple as good people celebrating happy moments with good people- isn't that the way it should be?

Jerry Brady

Jerry was born in Virginia and moved to Colorado in 1964 with his military family stationed at Fort Carson.

He is a father of 3 and recently married the love of his life-Melanie.

Jerry is a project manager for John Bowman Inc. located in Fountain, Colorado. He loves the outdoors- fishing, hunting, gardening, and is an avid motorsports enthusiast, having competed for 3 decades in local Hillclimb Racing.

Moonshine Mountain, Lake George, Colorado- was conceived early during the COVID pandemic, and developing it has been Jerry and Melanie's passion ever since.

Melanie was born and raised in California. She moved to Colorado in 2005 and has loved living in this beautiful state ever since. Melanie has 3 adult children and 1 adorable grandson, and spent the majority of her adult life working in the medical field when she wasn’t raising her family.

Melanie met Jerry a few years ago and they fell madly in love, and always enjoyed entertaining family and friends alike. While engaged, Moonshine Mountain was born and the two lovebirds have spent the downtime that COVID afforded bringing their dream to life.

In June 2021, Melanie and Jerry wed in front of their aspen rocks, and are looking forward to a lifetime of celebrating love of all kinds.
